CAREER DAY!

April 21, 2015 Laguna Middle School students had the opportunity to see presenters from different varieties of jobs. Asking questions and listening to the presentations, students think about their future.
Your career is an important aspect of your life and most people need a job to live and support their families. Without a job, you can’t earn much money and without money you can’t buy essential needs to survive. Overall jobs are very important in the world.
Students started the day off with a fun survey to “determine their future jobs.” Although the survey may not be super accurate, students enjoyed the fun of it. Throughout the day LAMS students venture through to different classrooms absorbing interesting information.
Brett Butterfield, owner of the Ravine water park, talks to the students about what being an entrepreneur is all about. Through hard work and determination, Mr. Butterfield found his dream in the water park. Students were enticed to hear about the creation of a water park loved by many.
All of the speakers were very inspiring and many students learned a lot from this day filled with careers!
